The past few days have been full and wonderful and great. I just wanted to say the sincerest thank you to all who have supported me over the few days with prayers, purchases and words of encouragement. Y’all are the best and have been a blessing to me and Daniel! So, THANK YOU!
As many have asked, where can I see prints available at Jubala? First, you can hop on over to Jubala Coffee and see them all there, and order a vanilla latte and grilled pimento cheese and bacon panini while you’re at it. You won’t be sorry! But, if you are way to far away to make it to Jubala before August 31 to see them all in person then you can see them here!
If you want something to look at today that is just eye candy and not a lot of words, today’s post is it! I have also posted all of these prints in my shop today if you scroll to the bottom of the page you will see them listed under, “Jubala Coffee Art Prints” and instructions on ordering.
So this is one of my very favorite pieces I have created ever. First of all, I am a HUGE Johnny Cash fan! Legalistic Christians, don’t judge. Just something about how he plays, he sings, his storytelling is so appealing to me. And how he plays reminds me of how my Uncle Don plays guitar and sings. Especially Johnny Cash’s version of “You Are My Sunshine”….exactly how my Uncle plays it. And now I sing it to my son. My Uncle Don also gave me the most beautiful guitar about 9 years ago that I play on today for our worship at church. Even though Johnny was no perfect man, as none of us are, his music most definitely influences my musical style and artistic style. So, this you could say, is my small nod to the Man in Black. My genius printer also decided to print this on a light tan paper that is a beautiful, finishing touch on this vintage aesthetic. Prints are available on both white and tan paper as seen above.
Created for a missionary friend who wanted this reminder in her home. I had such great feedback and requests for it, I made it again and you can grab a print for yourself today!
“Her mouth speaks from that which fills her heart.” – Luke 6:45
The Glorious Day print got a makeover! I recreated it on chipboard to give an organic, neutral feel and allow the lettering to really pop! I am really happy with this new look for a favorite print!
“Wherever you are be all there.” – Jim Elliot
In a time and day where we are distracted by EVERYTHING I love this quote from famous, martyred missionary, Jim Elliot. Let’s be intentional with the short lives we are given. Let’s not live on social media all day long, instead, let’s live life with the people God has placed around us! And most importantly, as Jim Elliot lived out, to his death, as Christians, may we be all there in sharing the great hope we have in Jesus Christ with others! If we do not live like this on purpose, it will not happen. The ombre of the blue gouache was designed to focus your eyes downward along with the pull of the letters down and to settle on the words, “be all there.”
“Food is Memories”
The Raleigh print also got a facelift! I reworked this original design of mine and am so thrilled with how it turned out! I love my original design, but with a few tweaks and a touch of gold to surround the state of North Carolina it just made it all the better!
If you want to purchase any of these and you saw them at Jubala Coffee then please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know! We will have them shipped to you as soon as possible!
There are also two canvases I created for the display and I will give more details about those in a few days. Until then…
